Stone Relief

Stone Relief

Carvingbas-reliefsidelightchiseledshadow

Bas-relief carved in stone — raked sidelight, real cast shadow.

Swatch shows the same line — Signal over noise — rendered in this material, so the surface is the only variable.

Prompt formula

SURFACE: Warm limestone / travertine slab with natural veining, pitting and small weathered chips. All forms carved in shallow relief with true cast shadows and soft ambient occlusion; claw-chisel and point marks visible across the surface; dust in the recesses. Essentially monochrome stone with ONE accent — traces of ancient faded ochre-red pigment surviving in the carved hollows, plus thin worn gilding inside the incised title strokes. Hero - a single continuous carved frieze panel — one temple-machine with three carved niches, each niche holding a small relief figure with its label incised in a rectangular cartouche beneath. Title deeply V-cut into the stone, one edge catching the light, the other in shadow. Monumental, ancient, weighty.
SKELETON: auto by page role (cover / chapter / list / compare)
DEVICE: the page's argument drawn as a form native to this material
END: Full-bleed 16:9 — render DEVICE on the SURFACE, per the page's composition.
CRITICAL: title in clean legible English; NEVER invent extra words or non-English glyphs;
annotations only as marks / numbers / dimension lines; no UI, no cards, no captions.
