SURFACE: Every single outline in the image is a BENT BRASS WIRE (掐丝) standing proud of the surface — thin gilded ribbons set on edge, forming closed cells, with visible wire joins and tiny irregularities where the wire was pinched around a curve. Ground enamel is packed into those cells and fired - slightly granular, with a few small pinholes and bubble pits, and micro-variation in colour density within a single cell. Surface polished flush then buffed, so wires read as continuous gold lines and the enamel between them is glassy with soft depth. Gilded copper rims and a gilt base band. Palette - the classic 景泰 turquoise-blue ground with lapis blue, coral red, aubergine, white and moss green enamels, all separated by gold wire. Motif vocabulary - 缠枝莲 scrolling lotus, cloud scrolls, ruyi heads, a lotus-petal band at the bottom edge. Raking light so the wire relief casts hairline shadows and the enamel shows glassy depth.
